Aufräumen
Photography
“Aufräumen" is a photograph project of HfG Karlsruhe. I have attended this project in 2016.
“Aufräumen" is a German word. It’s explanation in the dictionary is, “Make order, put in order, put in its place, clear out of the way”. It’s a process of making disorder to order. It can also be a process to remove the excess stuff. Following the concept of “aufräumen” I have made these 2 photo series:
The first series was made in the city library of Stuttgart. There’s a big, bright space in this amazing building. And everywhere is white. So I could take these interesting movements, in front of a white background, like a canvas.
Sometimes it’s full of random people. Sometimes it’s completely empty. And sometimes it’s happened to be an ordered scenario.
I have to find the right place in the building to take these moments. It’s more like I’m cleaning it with my camera and imagination.

The second series is focus on the minimal details in the city.
